Fast idle - Late 70's sbc - picture request
Does anybody have a late 70's engine with a M4MC quadrajet on it with AC? I've swapped a 78 400 sbc into my 85 K20 and kept the AC components from the 85. The 78 didn't have AC & the carb doesn't have the same mounting provisions as the one from the 85. I have the solenoid from the 85s electric choke carb and can fab a bracket easily.
If somebody has a chance to get a reference pic of where the bracket ties into the carb and how it contacts the throttle linkage it would help greatly. Also if I could get a dimension of the distance of how far it "bumps" the throttle shaft, it would be much appreciated. Thanks for any input.

Re: Fast idle - Late 70's sbc - picture request
Thanks for the reply. That's very similar to the carb on the 350 I pulled.
I need to adapt that solenoid to a late 70's carb. So I need a pic of a late 70's carb with AC.
