Smile Wedding anniversary gift

This past Saturday was my 23rd anniversary. I got up early and was ready to do anything my wife wanted to do.She said that she wanted some new curtains for our bedroom, so i was prepared to look at curtains all day. While driving up the road, she says pull in here, i said this is a muffler shop, she says yes it is pull in. I pull in,the guy comes out and asks for my name, i tell him and he says we will have you fixed up shortly. Now by this time i am wanting answers, my wife says, i ordered you some new flowmaster mufflers for your truck, its the 40 series like you said you wanted. About 45 minutes later he backs my truck out and it sounded great. I would have looked at curtains for the rest of the day. She did get her curtains, and we are both very happy. Here is to another 23 years!

gcburdic,

I am at Punchy's almost every Sunday afternoon. They have up and down weekends. Some Sundays the place is packed with old cars and trucks, sometime only a few are there. I would love to meet and get a close look of your truck, she is very nice!

Wow, Big Al, that's a nice gift. Congratulations on 23 years, Dave - this year will be 25 for me, so I suppose I'll have to spend some money, and probably not on my truck.

Re: Wedding anniversary gift

Congrats on the 23rd!

My wife and I are heading into year 7 and I can only hope she is so supportive after 23 years lol.

Double congrats on one fine 1972 stepchild , I to have a 72 short step and could only wish mine comes out a fraction as smooth as yours.

Cant beat a wife who passes on getting you a new tie and gets your truck some new Horns lol.
