Windshield wiper motor install - Some questions for the all-knowing 67-72 board
Hopefully the captions are clear enough in these images. Just a few questions in prep to reinstall this or like unit. Thanks for any input.

BTW, I just realized there's a spot in these cowls for a third transmission/wiper? It's on the RH side of the truck.

Re: Windshield wiper motor install - Some questions for the all-knowing 67-72 board
Per a little research:
1. The rubber mounting pads (I called them washers) are just part of the unit. One of mine has a small crack. It would probably last another 20 years or so, though perhaps I can find something to fit. 2. The fiber element is a gasket (page 57 in assm. manual). That answers the question about the glue as well. On a side note, the assm. manual doesn't seem to show the grommet on the cowl side. It's not much of a grommet, and may be more a spacer. The hole cut into the cowl for these are large and sloppy. At least on mine it is. I'll bet a dealer or two can send me into the right direction for a gasket, and even the "grommet". 3. The rubber seal, which if I recall is very pliable (packed away at the moment). Heck I don't know, maybe there's a replacement. I don't see this in the manual either. All the book mentions is one cemented gasket. I suppose I could just clean it, though it appears to use an adhesive of some sort. 5. For lack of a better term, that's called an transmission arm bracket. I'm replacing all elect. components on this truck, but the wiper motor and pump were great when I removed them. That said, if anyone knows of great OER replacements, may as well replace those too.
