I don't think they are as common, but I doubt they are considered rare. |

Re: Longbed stepside...
I have only seen a couple of interesting ones - one is on the board and is a 4x4, the other was a correctly restored 1-ton.
Those 2 (wish i had pics) are proof that anything can look good given the right conditions. but, most of them are ugly and underappreciated. They are somewhat rare, but rare doesnt always translate into big coin |

here is a couple of pics of a 67. It belongs to Moneyguru. I have not seen any posts from him in a while.

Re: Longbed stepside...
I think a little bit of both statements are true. I have two of them that I bought as a package deal along with four other trucks.

Here's mine - a before picture. Right now I have it stripped down to the frame and I am "restoring" it.

Re: Longbed stepside...
I've seen a '69 LWB stepside 1-ton with the heavy duty 1 ton dually type spindles/hubs/rims and it looks killer! The guys has aluminum rims on it, wish I had a picture.

Re: Longbed stepside...
I see more of them in the 67 to 69 years around here. farm/oilfield friendly I guess.

Re: Longbed stepside...
the regualar 127 inch wheel base long step in 10 and 20 series was slightly odd back in the day, but hardly enough to raise an eyebrow to.
The one ton 9 foot step, they have some low production numbers. |
