Finished everything under the bed, ready to re-install bed
My trailing arms Poly bushing arrived today so I got to finishing what was left under the bed. Cut and added a union and a small length of fuel line to the to get it to the pickup...not the vent like I had it, (Thanks Mark)!!! Cleaned up the electrical lines to the rear and clipped them in place. Installed newly "painted to match" shocks and bolted the spring retainer cups down tight. Here she is ready for her bed to go back on.

That's just too nice to drive on the street. You plan on trailering that to shows only right? BTW what finish is that on the frame rails?

Re: Finished everything under the bed, ready to re-install bed
Looks real good and it definately feels good to drive down the road and know the bottom of the truck is as clean as the top.
Question......Did you paint your brake lines blue or are they some other material? |

Re: Finished everything under the bed, ready to re-install bed
Brake lines you see are original lines, wire wheeled and painted blue. Don't ask me why....don't really know why I did it....I kinda like it though. They sell blue anodized brake line...if the paint doesn' hold up I'll do it in anodized....now that I'm an expert at bending lines, LOL!
