How strong is this?

I recently acquired either an overdrive or underdrive unit from a parted out '84K20. It is a cast iron unit that mounts between the trans (sm465) and bellhousing. It is shifted via a plunger type button that is attached to an Eaton electric shifter. The tag on the unit reads Hot Shot Model 1130 ATS serial # 5042 Transportation Technologies Inc. I can't find ANY information on this thing. I want to know how strong it is since it may soon be planted in front of a mild 454. Does anyone have any experience with this? Where else could I look for info?

Thanks
