Plans are to do a 2x4" back half, new 12 bolt rear end, f9000 behind the axle, fuel cell, ART 4 link, 2 5 gallon stainless steel air tanks, newer vortec 5.7L EFI/4L60E tranny,SSBC 1ton brake kit, stainless steel brake lines, 3" Bell Tech drop spindles, ART strong arms, all new steering components, new white paint, 20" Foose nitrous wheels.
here are some pictures of the build so far. Mainly just frame build pictures |

Great work. It's a shame you covered it with that plain paint.

Re: my 86 Backhalf'd SWB c10
Little update on the truck. We swapped the frame under the truck fit like a glove! it then went to the painter. he wanted to start with the bed so we shaved stake pockets, both gas doors, roll pan. Next to raise the wheel tubs and put in the notch cover.. im tossing up the idea of relocating the gas filler behind the drivers taillight. changed from painting it white again to GM new color called cyber grey metallic we are going to add extra pearl so it should pop more it will be a 3 stage paint.
here are some pictures i have on my phone of the truck after i put the bed and cab on with it aired up. here is a picture of my 90 burban cluster after i cleaned it up a little. here is a good picture of the cyber grey metallic Im going to get some better pictures of the truck this week! |

The frame works looking real nice. Looking forward to how the truck looks in the gray. Should be nice looking. Is it going solid Cyber Gray?

Re: my 86 Backhalf'd SWB c10
Build looks great. I didn't see any mods to the front end to make it layout level with the frame (Z, sectioned or raised x member. etc). You going to leave it as is?
