My truck at work!!
Just a couple of pics of the '68 doing what it was built for.
The second pic was taken about 350 miles south of here on our way home from a show. The truck performed flawlessly and pulls like a dream. |

Hey 86swb, I currently have a '28 Model A 2 door on the trailer. It tows great with a load, kinda takes the bounce out of the truck and yes trailer brakes where installed on the truck. Kinda had a minor jack knifing incident last year with a truck and no trailer brakes, NEVER again.

Is the '28 yours? Or do you haul for folks? Glad to hear you have brakes. I get chills when someone pulls a carhauler or any big trailer with no brakes. As the ol' saying goes "accident looking for a place to happen". My "31 drives like new. Low miles. My Grandad got ill not too long after he bought it new off of the show room floor and did not drive it hardly. My Dad only drove the car to shows and a little spin now and then. It has a little over 3,000 miles. It was parked for years and all my Dad did was go out and start it once in a while. It is really nice. I am not a Ford man but love that car. It will always stay in the family. (I hope)

My parent's own a classic car restoration business so needless to say we are always moving a car here or there. We are building up another car hauler a '52 IHC COE crew cab remounted on a new lo pro chassis but it isn't quite done yet, so we use the car trailer behind my truck or my dad's dodge cummins.
As for the '28 it is a customer's, been in the family since new. Came from the family farm in Manitoba 15 years or so again and hasn't been used much since. The wife asked us to pick it up, freshen it up and get it re-running before their wedding anniversary later this month. |

The IHC project is my dad's little baby, he hasn't touched it, let alone even look at it since early February. He had a couple of heart attacks and just hasn't had the ambition to complete it. He is almost in the stage of the game to get back into her and finish it. Hopefully in time for Hershey PA this fall. That way we will arrive in style. If it is not done, maybe we will just take my truck.
