Re: steering wheel replacement

anything up to air bag wheels.
Some work is required for the horn button to work properly though on some.
I had an S-10 one in a few of my trucks, I now have a 2nd gen camaro wheel in the burb, and a 3rd gen trans am wheel in the longhorn.

Does that make them faster?

And the S-10 wheel... I can't find any pics of it in any of my trucks... but this is the say deal that i had in my first 70 longhorn, the 69 GMC, and then in the one ton longhorn. (3 seperate wheels, but they were all the same)

Re: steering wheel replacement

I really like the look of that 2nd gen camaro wheel. Currently I've got a Grant wheel with adapter. Could I just remove it and the adapter and bolt that wheel on? I think I can but want to make sure before I buy one.

Re: steering wheel replacement

yup.
if you have a 69 or older, the base of the wheel will be a bit larger than the column, but you'll hardly notice it.
You'll have to modify your turn signal cancel cam a little. Search the FAQ truck tech for late model steering wheel install by me, and you'll see why and what needs done.
