Alternator/ AC
I think I have a 81-84 350 in my truck. I can't remember old age I guess. The alternator is on the Pass. side. Long neck water pump. My question being, I'm going to put Vintage Air this spring. Do I need to change The alternator to the drivers side ? I don't remember The compressor on the drivers side. Kinda thinking that it would be easier to install with alternator on drivers side.

Re: Alternator/ AC
You should discuss this with your Vintage Air vendor. I think the kits are passengers side compressors/brackets and fit the short water pump configuration for your year truck. You need to get a kit for the year of your truck, not the motor.
