6-lug disc brake
i have 6 lug disc rotors bolt battern is 6x5.5 i am just looking for the correct backspacing anyone chime in on some knowledge?

Backspacing is DIRECTLY related to wheel width.
What size/diameter and width wheel are you looking for up front? |

For reference, I have 8" wheels - 235 tires up front with 4.5" backset. Looks right. Could go 4" in the future because I like them tucked well under. 5" would have given me a more modern flush fit.

Jesse,I'm guessing that you are trying to fit wheels over a 6 lug disc brake conversion,correct?If so you need to worry about wheel type as muc as backspacing.Most of the steel wheels for these trucks do not have clearance for the calipers.There are some styles that do.If you are more specific in what you are asking,we can better advise you to the options.

73-87 disc brake setups definatly will not clear the calipers for stock steel wheels.
