There was some snow on my wind sheild this morning, after I warned up my truck and got in there was a little puddle on the floor mat. Then when I backed out more water poured onto my foot. Any one know where it is leaking through the fire wall and how to fix it?

You look at the rubber grommet on the firewall by the steering column?

Right there.

Seriously couple of the options. Hole in the cowl, fix is on a case by case, depending how deep you want to go and skill set.

Option 2, hole under windshield gasket. No easy fix, as to get to it windshield must come out.

These are worse case scenarios, with some more poking and prodding you may find something simple. If it were me, run it till the weather gets nice. A garden hose and a flashlight will help track down the leak. Hopefully it's something simple as beavers built a dam in the cowl...

I agree with "Donut", I'd check the cowl first, it's not that hard to remove, 4 screws and a few clips and it's off. Check to see it it has rusted through, look at the windshield lower left hand corner for rust.
