Question electric fan location

Seems like most folks like their fans behind the radiator. what would be wrong with putting it out front and letting the fans push air thru the radiator around the motor to move the heat? Seems like their might be more room out front esp. running a long water pump on a BB...

Re: electric fan location

They aren't as efficient when wired up as pushers.
I forget the numbers, maybe 25% more efficient as pullers?
