can you use 72 door panels on 67-71 doors? any help would be awsome. thanks mike

Yup, just need 72 window regulators to compensate for the thickness of the panel. You may need to drill several holes in the door for the plastic clips that hold the panel to the door.

Im not saying this is wrong but i put 72 door panels on my 67 and used my 67 regulators. It was i tight fit but they worked. I also had to put nuts in the door mount the arm rest. I think i just had to make the holes where the upper strip was bigger so i could fit clips in.

Yep,

I put 72's onmy old 69. I did not change regulators. It will work, but it's tight. Not too easy to get the handles back off, but it certainly is doable.

They work but there tight. Thats what i did. Not a great pic but you get the idea.

They won't work if you are planning on using the 72 woodgrain panels. Well, they probably will if you beat the handle on with a mallet and don't plan on removing it again

I also have '72 panels on my '69 doors - my grandfather did them when he restored the truck back in 1990-91. I have tried a few times to get the window crank handles off and I can't...

the regs are cheap enough off here that theres really no reason to work harder instead of smarter.... i like the 72 panels way better than the early years.....
