4l80e wiring connector leak
Have a non-op project with a 4L80E rebuild transmission, installed. Went to fill it with ATF and after filling to a certain level, started pouring out of the case connector for my control electronics. I've seen these out of the trans and looks like they are a single o-ring seal with lock tabs. I pulled on it, pushed on it, twisted it and can't seem to get a lock seal. The slightest push inward and the seal breaks. Anyone else run into this problem? Any ideas? Trans was rebuilt by a reputable local company that's been around awhile. I'll call them also, but thought I'd try the forum as well.

Re: 4l80e wiring connector leak
Meant to get back with you a few days ago. Thanks for the right answer. Drained and captured my fluid, took out the harness, showed it to the dealer and owner gave me a new one. Locking tabs had broken off, probably during rebuild. Everything is fine now. Thanks again.
