Is This a Good Deal?
I joined this forum to get some advise on a truck I found today. It is a 1972 C10 Cheyenne super Olive green LWB 350 Auto AC 1 owner 80,000. It has aways been in the garage and has had seat covers on the seats since new. The truck has no rust on the origional paint and has not been started in 6 years. I can buy it for $5600.00 Is this a good deal? He is holding it for me and I need to make a decision

Re: Is This a Good Deal?
depending on what your intentions are. judging by the pictures you couldnt take 5600 bucks and fix one as nice as that one.
its definately worth that. but if you buy it i would not touch it or try to fix anything. Last edited by bsm78; 02-13-2010 at 08:23 PM. |

Re: Is This a Good Deal?
Great deal. That is a nice survivor. Hopefully you are looking to keep it original. That is too nice a truck to cut up. If you are wanting to customize one, I would still buy that tuck and re-sale it. Probably a little money to be made on it.

Re: Is This a Good Deal?
Thanks for the advice. I just told the owner I will buy it. I have no intentions of doing any customizing to the truck. I am going to have a flatbed bring it to the house, change all of the fluids and get it running. The paint just needs a good buffing and I need to repair the rear wheel arch ( you can see it in the picture). The owner backed into a pole and bent up the tailgate pretty bad so I will need to get a new one. I will post some more pictures when I get home and cleaned up.
