Look what I ran onto today.
1978, factory big block, AC, posi, dual tanks, tach, pwr windows, buckets etc. Frame off restored with inspection marks on the chassis and engine bay. I have only owned two square bodies, and I fell in love with this one.

Re: Look what I ran onto today.
ya know, I had a 74 and my folks had an 83.. both long gone..
I think that one's a dandy, it'll look great with factory steel wheels and Davis Construction door placards

Nice truck!
My dad had one just like that but was green and white exterior. He bought it new and I hoped he would let me buy it from him when I got my license. He ended up trading it to a dealership in south Ms. Man what I wouldn't give to get that truck. |

Re: Look what I ran onto today.
Since you own a nice square body, I was thinking about asking you about the trucks worth. I haven't kept up with them, and didn't realize they had such a strong market.
He asked me $35,000. Is that in the ballpark? I have a new Gear Vendors in the box for a 400 turbo, and that would make it drivable. Of course it sits a little high to suit me. I know it only takes two people to establish value, a seller and a buyer.

Re: Look what I ran onto today.
I would be a stronger buyer if I didn't have a 67 SWB and K10 project, and my 55 going to the paint shop. If somebody wants info I will be glad to pass it along.
