Re: NOS doors - Not mine
Kinda pricey for an opening bid but, you don't see them for sale much.

Re: NOS doors - Not mine
He'll probably get $2500 for them. What could you buy these for back in
the 80's? Would be nice to see something (cardboard) between the concrete & that virgin metal as he's taking piocs |

Re: NOS doors - Not mine
I may be getting old but that seems like a lot of money. NOS parts prices are nuts.

Re: NOS doors - Not mine
My personal opinion is anyone who pays 2500 for those two doors has losy there ever loving mind.
I bought two nos doors and honestly that does not mean they fit good, I was not the least bit impressed with how they fit and not sure it is much better than aftermarket. The rockers now on the other hand were worth the money I paid for them.

Re: NOS doors - Not mine
That's a lot for two doors $600.00 to $700.00 would be fair . I think that would be called price gouging

Re: NOS doors - Not mine
My stash of doors always looked good. I have a pair I pulled from a truck in '83. It had nothing to do with money and still doesn't. I just got doors I knew I'd need.

Re: NOS doors - Not mine
That driver's door is a 72. I agree the price is way high but someone will pay it more than likely. Good used complete rust free doors around here are going for $250-$400 each some times higher.

Re: NOS doors - Not mine
I hate to say it but I have owned my truck for about 5 years and have buying and selling parts for it ever sense. You old timers have been holding onto doors longer than I have been alive, and I don't consider myself a young man any more. I would kill for a set of doors that didn't need about 30% new medal, but that's what i got, and that's what I will do my best to body work now that i butchered in new metal and that's what i'll paint and bolt back up.
I hate you all. |

Re: NOS doors - Not mine
I'm looking for a set, but way more than what will pay for set. Plus, with the pictures, who knows if the mate is a 72 also. NOS doors are like 72 extreme bend tow hooks, just plain WOW!

Re: NOS doors - Not mine
N.O.S. doors have been going for high prices a long time. I remember seeing a pair for $2,600 over ten years ago...from a highly respected leader in this field. And they sold! I remember thinking it was worth it on a rust free truck. The truck definitely had to be worthy of those doors. I can't see spending all that to bolt doors onto a patched up cab. Might as well patch up the doors, too.
