Re: Transportation

Greyhound Bus Lines is a good choice for shipping large parts, like hoods and doors.

how do you order them to take it with them ? do you hand the cargo up in the station or do you call some central so they can plan it in

Mike, I looked for Transportation but couldn't find it. Thanks Dan

Tony, I have used Greyhound several times. I don't think this hood would be an option as the crate is large and bulky and would take a forklift but, I think I will call them just the same. Thanks Dan

Re: Transportation

I have managed to get the hood to the San Fransisco area around the 27th of Dec. 2008. Is there anyone in this area that might be able to help get it closer to Washington or would be willing to have it dropped so I could make arrangements to have freighted from there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Dan

Re: Transportation

I have not personally shipped using this method, however I know individuals who have. I believe you take it to your local station and the receiver must pick it up at the station nearest to them. I understand this is cheaper than FedEx Freight, UPS and DHL. I guess it doesn't hurt to check with your local Greyhouse station.

I've used them several times. Not sure if they could fit that hood crate.
