This one i saw at a local car show. The pictures do not do any justice for how nice this truck was. It was still a work in progress.

Low is good. But you don't actually drive the truck that low. I am sure you knew that but you got to admit that they look sweet. I have been seeing alot more older folks with trucks and car dropped on the ground at car shows like these. I guess my generation is rubbing off on the older generations

Re: looking for spicy (customed) pics of 69 - 72 C10s
I saw an older guy in a '63 sitting on bags rolling white walls. I caught him at the light and gave him props on a very nice ride. He was cruising with his grandson who looked about 10. Passing on a solid tradition.
There are some great shots of members rides around here. I know this is a '55, but it's the best I got until Porterbuilt finishes the '69 he has in the works. This is one of my favorites. Last edited by jimmydean; 09-19-2006 at 12:14 AM. |

Re: looking for spicy (customed) pics of 69 - 72 C10s
I also enjoy the older years. I had a '63 that I never got to finish and my brother has a very nice '55 he is working on. When my buddy gets back next year from overseas, we will start on his '76 short step. I like them all, I guess. |

I am not sure if you are just looking for flat out pics but If I do not start another project I will be getting this one to the ground during the winter. I have removed the power booster and installed an electric master cylinder. It also is putting out more than 700 horse power with the supercharged big block.

I love your truck... I think it sits perfect in the back.. if you could get the nose down a couple inches it would be straight perfect.. not everything need to lay out

Thanks 1LoC10, we built some custom snubbers so when I let the air out I would be able to drive it with full turning radius. Just incase I lose pressure. I would be able to get it down more with a different set of wheels so they tuck up there just a little more. |
