Not sure of the draw or hype with this....those 1 lb bottles of propane that don't last that long and a gallon of gas are currently roughly about the same price after adding the 2 stroke oil, I'll stick with the gasoline version.

Never having to deal with bad gas! That's why I still have an electric weed wacker.

When they're proven and show up at the rental shops I'll be interested.

Re: Propane Powered Craftsman Weed Eater

Propane falls under alternative fuel, so there's probably some sort of cut, kick back, tax break, exemption, etc that a company would use it for, or to market to the consumer who wants to stick with an ICE powered implement, but not deal with gasoline. Exmark Toro and Scag have all done propane powered commercial zero turns that run on forklift tanks.

I can understand liquid propane forklift bottles and I've seen those on commercial lawn equipment. Liquid propane expands about 270 times at 1Bar so a bottle last quite some time.

Here you go. It’s 4 cycle for sure and has spark but doesn’t want to start. I bought it for $30 to get the hedge trimmer attachment that came with it that also fits my 2 cycle machine

Somewhere, the queen of a beehive is dying. I use 30% vinegar to kill weeds if I can't just burn them off at ground level.

I don't think you can post videos on here. You have to post them on another site and provide a link to it on here.... I don't really know a lot about that stuff though....
