Drove some cool trucks sunday...

Got the jimmy back finally. (see thread in blazers/jimmys) grabbed the 71 and trailer to haul some siding on my own house project, and went to board member sakohntrs house and got to drive his new toy. 427/allison 4 speed, 13k actual miles and 7:17 gears. Plus i put a few miles on the burb running errands. Not a bad weekend if you are into old vehicles...
Enjoy.

That truck has Sakohntr written all over it. I bet I can run faster than that thing!

I'm glad you got to go out a spin the wheels on a few of your trucks. Always a good time looking across the hood.

Don't remind me. Had 29 one morning last week and a high of 80 today.

He drove it from michigan to MN and said 52 was max mph and that was pushing it. Definitely a cool truck.

Sounds like a great day Eric. I wish as I usually do this time of year could take mine for a short spin.

You notice this post was in september... Other than one really nice week, we have basically had snow around since the middle of october. I dropped insurance on the 72 jimmy nov. 5th just because i wanted to get some miles on the new engine.
