Need Pics 67-72's with a 5.5/7 drop
I'm trying to figure out how much i want to drop my 68. I'm staying static for now. Thinking of doing 5.5/7 with 2.5 front spindles and 3" springs, 5" springs and 2" blocks in the back. I have 6 lug rallys that i wll be using for now. Please post up your pics and your experiences with this drop. I did do a search but need more pics. Thankyou.

Re: Need Pics 67-72's with a 5.5/7 drop
That's exactly the drop I'm doing, and I stayed 6-lug as well. I haven't really gotten started on the rear yet, and the truck is still far from driveable so I can't tell you much, but my front end looks pretty cool so far with the 5.5" drop and the 6-lug corvette rallys. I cut off the bump and steering stops while I was in there and it turns lock to lock just fine without hitting the fenders with a 225/75r15. I also removed the inner fenders.

Do you have any pics of the way the front sits? I'm also looking to keep my inner fenders in it.

The white truck in my sig has a 5/7 drop. You can see more pics in my N2deep project post. @work on iPhone can't add pics. The ride is good, firm but good.

I would defiantly go over to the suspension forum and ask. Maybe link this thread and just ask them for some pics. You will get a bunch more replies there.

Re: Need Pics 67-72's with a 5.5/7 drop
Thankyou everybody, I decided to go with a 5/7 drop. I ordered 2.5" drop springs from western chassis and i'm going to use 2.5" drop spindles in the front. I also ordered 5" drop springs with 2" blocks for the rear. I love the way Raguemoe's truck sits, think when i'm done with the build i'm going to run a 20/22 combo as well.
