Re: how about some laid out longbeds

Kev2809, My suspension is cupped lower control arms, swap to disc brakes from a '76 truck, RE-6's, top plates, and finished the front off with DJM three inch lowering spindles. The rear is a Air Ride Tech. triangulated four link, FBI notch, and RE-7's.

Here's a pic of the rear. kinda hard to see but all I have on my laptop.

Re: how about some laid out longbeds

man that is 3000 psi steel braided hydraulic hose, it will cut through the metal before the metal cuts the hose. i will never have a failure with this setup. all my trucks i do i use hydraulic hose. and no leaks either. lol. it is expensive to use. but i like the insurance of it.

Re: how about some laid out longbeds

Love the pics, especially the red one, I saw a pic of it on here last year and it was just the kick in the backside I needed to get moving on mine. Super clean.

Heres mine, again not quite laid out, its sitting on bumpstops though. Its about to get 20" steelies and a chopped front crossmember, so then she'll be down good and hard.

The whitewalls are painted on, the back one looks humped as I had the exhaust dumping in front of it.

Re: how about some laid out longbeds

Well Dang I like that one, for obvious reasons, like brothers from other mothers.

I had looked at getting real deal whitewalls but they are just too pricey only to kerb one and ruin it. The whitewall paint seems to be ok, its a rubber based emulsion that etches into the tyre once you remove the outer skin (not a whole layer of rubber) from the tyre, we have a guy locally that does it for 20 bucks a tyre.
