Can someone tell me what year this is?
I found this on Craigslist and was wondering if its worth picking up? They are asking $400 OBO Don't know what year it is? The ad says it needs a motor and transmission. Would utility or bucket seats have been standard equipment in it? Since that is what I was searching for when I found it.
Thanks Lenard |

Re: Can someone tell me what year this is?
looking at the slant front and the side markers, it's a '68. not sure about the seats, i don't know much about burb's. If it has buckets, I do believe they would be the utility buckets, but I have no clue what came as 'standard' equipment. i'm sure someone else will chime in here!

Re: Can someone tell me what year this is?
If the seats are stock they are the utility buckets. The passenger seat was an option but i have never seen a Panel without one.It will have a flip and fold base.If the lower parts of the body are not too bad it is well worth $400.00 but then I'm biased. If the VIN starts with a K it will be very rare.I can't tell from the pics but there were less than 100 K Panels built throughout the 67-72 model years.

Re: Can someone tell me what year this is?
The owner finally got back to me. It doesn't have original seats they have been replaced with buckets out of a blazer. No motor or transmission. How much is to much to offer? I'm not that interested in it but would hate to see it go to the crusher.
Here is the text from the ad: Great project vehicle! We just don't have the time for it! Needs motor, tranny and a few other things. If you have the time and the will power to make it a really nice truck, then this is for you! We are asking $400 OBO!! Make me an offer that I cant refuse!!! |

Re: Can someone tell me what year this is?
I agree, and those are probably REALLY hard to find in Alaska. The make an offer makes me think you should start at $250-$300.
