GMC grill question
I have a '70 GMC front clip that I want to put on another 1 ton I recently got, but I would like to use a '68 hood. There is a filler piece on the top grill, along with fender trim, that I know has to come off. Is there a filler piece on '67-68's between the grill and the hood? If there is, does anyone has a close up pic of it? Thanks!

Re: GMC grill question
Yes there is a top bar on 67-68 GMC grilles, its 3/4" a inch tall and if you use it, the hood latch, and center grille brace off the 67-68 GMC on any 67-72 GMC grill you can then install a 67-68 hood without any other modifications. If you want to use the 67-68 only lower grill to core support gravel deflector then you will need to use a 67-68 GMC core support, no need to change fenders they match up to the 67-68 parts.

Re: GMC grill question
In this pic the filler is black, I think I have a pic of the filler by itself if I can find it.
GMC Paul is right, you will also need the hood latch and center brace. Good luck, Rg
