Re: Original 69-72 GM am/fm
Interested in Radio. Is it from a Truck or a Van? Would you be able to post a picture of the rear of the unit? Does it work as far as receiving and playing signal? Thankyou for more info. Jeff.

Re: Original 69-72 GM am/fm
I got it from a 1970 Suburban about 6 years ago, It was for my burb but I never got to install it or test it.
I was going to send it to a guy that converts old radios with new AM/FM and Ipod/ mp3 internal parts and ports, but I never got around to it. John H. $310 and and you have a deal and a nice radio! If John passes, I'll let it go at this same price to the next in line $310 Shipped |

Re: Original 69-72 GM am/fm
I will take a gamble on it working. Looks like the screws holding the face plate on are missing, but looks very nice.
How do you want paid? PM payment instructions. |

Re: Original 69-72 GM am/fm
Looks great! The difference is the numbers on a van radio are a different font and size, they may be white to vs a greenish background. The case where the antenna goes in is angled on a corner and the truck goes straight in. There may be more.

Re: Original 69-72 GM am/fm
Van radio's all have the antenna pluging into the bottom of the radio while the truck plugs into the right side behind the heat sink. A van has different style numbers and letters on the face plate but that can be easily changed to look like the truck.
