My '67 CST SWB Fleet Big-Window...finally!
I have been on a serious lookout for years hoping to find this truck.
I always loved the grill of the '67 shortbed but it had to be a big-window...and if it was a CST even better. Thanks to Dave of Dave's Truck parts I found it on Craigslist. It had been tucked away in a barn for 10 years by the widow of the original owner in North Carolina. Original Paint, 327 drivetrain, buddy seat interior, carpet & tinted glass. The glovebox sticker is intact and I hope to find a build sheet in the seat. In anticipation of finding this truck I bought a freshly rebuilt '67 Corvette 327/300, '71 5-lug disc-brake front end and 12-bolt 3:73 rear axle and built T5 S10 5-speed. The only real mods I'll make and I will keep all the original equipment in storage. Stay tuned...

Wow, that's nice! I've never been much of a fan of 67's, but that one sure changes my mind!

Re: My '67 CST SWB Fleet Big-Window...finally!
Hey! Thanks for the nice comments.
The little truck is still in Transport. Will post more "Before" pics when it arrives in Los Angeles...late this month. When it arrives it's off to Jeff Hunt's "Finish Line Restoration" shop. Stage 1: We'll do some disassembly to clean up the frame and install the '71 disc brake, 5-lug front & rear suspension that I picked up last week. Wayne

Re: My '67 CST SWB Fleet Big-Window...finally!
Update: Sunday July 18th
Well the scheduled pickup from North Carolina was delayed until this afternoon. The owners Ronnie & Cindy were nice enough to photograph the pickup. Bless their little hearts! At least now it's safely on it's way to it's new home in sunny Southern California. Can't wait... Wayne
