Re: Buddy Buckets: Not mine

Yeah, it had 2 days to go when I posted it. He said he would ship Greyhound. It was at the bottom where someone had asked him. Someone probably got a smokin' deal.

Now, how's about passing (pm'ing) along your e-mail/paypal info to me for your report-a-find kicker return. Thanks, Mel

Re: Buddy Buckets: Not mine

It's all good man, nobody owes me a dime! I would have loved them for my truck but by the time I saw he would ship them Greyhound they were gone! I am just glad someone on the board got them and not someone else on ebay who would have just flipped them and made a killing on them. Hope they work out well for whatever you are going to use them for! Take care buddy!

Ok, the decision is yours. Around here, I always offer up a $50.-$100. reward on any unknown complete truck leads that I end up purchasing. I just figured that I would offer a little something here where I felt it was just due. Thanks again for sharing!

Yes, you are correct about them being sold but I dont know about the make a killing part. First I had to offer up a decent price to get him to sell, secondly there are the round trip 312 mi./$60. in diesel and then thirdly, and most important to me due to lack of... is the five hours time spent in the truck. What do you feel your time is worth, if it wasn't for the couple of extras that were purchased, I wouldn't of even pulled in a minimum wage here? Mel

Did you not notice my smileys

I do totally understand on the minimum wage part. I've driven hours to look a truck that didn't end up being what was advertised and then again I drove an hour (on my way for a meeting anyways) for a $600 profit on an NOS gate...you win some....you lose some and in the end it seems like I just end up getting by....

Thanks again for the offer. I am just glad I could help a fellow classic trucker. With all the photos you have on file and the parts you have to sell, I am sure I will bother you enough later! Take care buddy!
