Re: Headers
I am curious as to why block huggers will not fit. Not a lot different then center dump rams horns.

Is your truck a 4x4? If so, then it would have center dump ram horns, if it is 2wd then you need turned back rams horns.

Re: Headers
I just went and took a look at mine. I knew it had turn backs but was curious about rams heads or block huggers and possible problems. One of the guys on the group has a pair of 2 1/2" vette rams horns on e-bay
(260316594669) and I could see those clearing the front crossmemberr with the turn back he has. Since the block huggers tuck into the block, they may clear the crossmember also. Of course, I need to measure first. I hope I am correct on the rams horns as I have a set of 2 1/2' ers set aside for mine. |

Re: Headers
heres my block huggers summit brand with ceramic coating ($200)fit well ,my engine is in 6 cylinder position though(only couple inches different), but i think they will fit regardless at least I hope so since I plan on using them on my current project. not sure I would use chrome they use to turn blue but maybe they have improved.
