Howdy,

I finally convinced my grandma to let me restore my grandpa's old farm truck (1971 Custom Deluxe Long Bed). The one condition from my grandma, aunts, and uncle was that I kept it green when I restored it which is not a problem because I am a blue and green guy anyway. I can't wait to start and finish the restoration because I spent a lot of time riding around with my grandpa in this truck on the farm when I was little. I'm not much for green but some of the 67-72 green and white rigs are REALLY sharp! Just look around the forums, you'll find plenty.

that is a very cool truck. you should put some 15x8 steel wheels painted the same color white as your top and toss on some chrome caps...imo that would really set it off...course thats just me

Thanks for the compliment. I *think* it's a Custom/Deluxe -- it's been so many years since I de-badged it, I'm not real sure anymore! I like that rear bumper a lot also; don't see many like that anymore. You should have seen what it did to the front of an old Corolla when a lady ran into the back of the truck...
