Re: crossmember ?s

what year is the truck? you should be able to get the brackets from the same year truck and bolt them right on. someone else will have to chime in since i don't have a leaf spring truck handy, but i believe you will also have to find a set of the plates that go on the next crossmember back where the coils sit against the frame as well as a stabilizer bar bracket.

Re: crossmember ?s

that looks like the same crossmember I have in my field (except mine has mounts for trailing arms on it)

Re: crossmember ?s

yes you can, and the holes are already there in the trailing arm crossmember for the conversion, i did it to my 71 gmc last summer. if you are gonna make the swap get all the riveted on brackets past the trailing arm crossmember including the parking brake bracket as they are different from the leaf setup. you can use parts from any 67-72 trailing arm truck.

YES YOU CAN. I did this swap 2 years ago. I Have a set of Trailing Arms Brackets that will bolt right up to your cross member. I used (8) Grade 8 Bolts to install my brackets. If your interested in the brackets, PM me. How's $25 plus USPS Medium Flat Rate Shipping Cost of $10.60. So $35.60 Total

Thanks, Harry
