Wiring AutoMeter Gauges to my existing harness?

Hey guys I I just wanted to make sure i get this right. I have all new AutoMeter Gauges as well as the Painless Wiring Harness.

Do I just need to clip off my old plug?

And attatch the wires to the new plug provided with the painless harness?

Thanks!

I would find a plug that mates either with the painless harness or the factory harness and through process of elimination, find out which wires go where.

I am at the same point you are. I am guessing you have to clip it, but I could be wrong....

Unless there is some kind of connecter you can plug in between the adapters.
