New guy in OR with lots of old Chevys
I'm getting to have quite a collection of old Chevy trucks here in Cottage Grove, OR. I'm only 20 years old (21 this summer), and one of the few my age that are actually into saving old iron and making stuff better than it was new. I just picked up a 72 Blazer project a couple weeks ago. Standard rusted out rockers, but the price was a LOT better than a similar one I found on a used car lot. I also have a 55 stepside and lots of spare parts, including a big glass cab, to build it with. I currently daily-drive a 69 GMC C1500 with a 307, 3-on-the-tree, and no power anything. My whole family has old Chevys, including some more 69-72 Chevy pickups, a couple 64-66 body style, my sister's 74 Nova, a 68 El Camino, and a 69 Corvette.
Here is a link to a past project (not a Chevy, but it was fun to drive) My other stuff will be done at least as good as this one. And a pic of the new-to-me K5: |

Welcome from NW Washington. Looks like a good project truck.
