73 GMC Super Custom Won't Start.

I don't have a automatic steering column in the 73 just a 4x4 original without tilt. But I have checked everything and talked to a mechanic and he said did I replace the fuel pump? and I said now but said it was leaking old fuel from the old one attached to the block. He said that I should replace my fuel pump. So I am doing that and getting a battery on the 13th. But everything works again. I just can't start it till then. Thanks for the Help. But I saw a few post saying that the 73 Supers are very rare? Is that something to be proud of when I own a 73 GMC Super Custom 2500?

I have replaced: Starter, Alternator, Spark Plugs, and a few other parts. Besides buying new battery, and few other parts. Can anyone Help? Mud Man?
