my old man wants to swap projects

i was down at my dads today helping him put new fluid in his diffs and he said that i should trade my 67 project for his 86 cj7, its temping because his is pretty well done, its a complete rig and has new paint, 2 sets of rims and tires , runs awesome too, but my senses came to me and i though hell no! but i did say on the odd weekend this summer that we could swap rigs. here is a pic of his jeep, you guys think i should swap him?

here is the truck as of now, the ralleys are in the shop cause i dont want them on when it gets painted, so no comments on the FUGLY rim/tire combo

the excitment is starting to build again, over the past 6 months i havent touched this thing, it feels good to get it out of storage and back at home. i need some of those aluminum finned valve covers for the ol' 327

on a side note : this is the bike my dad picked up about a month ago, didnt come complete , the owner started parting it out and this is what my dad ended up with, he wants to do something different with it so he isnt too concerned about not having a tranny/motor right now, its on the back burner for now but it should be fun to tinker later on down the road
