No hubcaps were offered from the factory for the K/10. K/20 series trucks in 67 and 68. Starting in 69 you could get the bright dog dish caps from the factory for both the 10 and 20 series 4x4s. No
White painted caps were offered on 4x4s either but I have seen some guys cut the center out for the fronts. I'm not sure when the full wheel covers were first offered as an option, I know you could get them on 71 And 72 4x4s

Re: 68 k20 hubcaps pictures and info please

Standard black wheels were as pretty as they came on a K10 or 20.

Next question is are you running the original base 17.5" wheels or one the optionals like 16, 17 or 16.5"?

The stock 4x2 hub caps were a clip on style shown on the red panel below.

If you are not running original wheels then you might want to ID what you have and what your options would be if you decided to add hub caps.

I like your style. My kind of custom, do what GM coulda or shoulda. Make people scratch their head and ask, "Is that factory?", or, "I didn't think GM did that"... Nope

X2! Hubcaps were used on late 50's and early 60's GM 4x4's, then they magically disappeared on '62-'68 Chevys and '65-'68 GMC's. Something the owner could have done from day one, visit the GM parts dept man. One odd note, as Blazerman correctly mentioned, the base model painted caps never re appeared on 4x4's, only the bright metal caps '69+
