Quiz Time! Do You See It?

I was visiting a friend. He has a very rusty 1965 LBFS.
Suddenly, I said WOW! I saw something on his truck I had never seen before - and I have seen a lot of C10 truck pictures.

Soooo . . . it's quiz time. You grade your own score.
If you see it in post #1 - you get 5 points.
If you look at post #2 and see it - you get 4 points.
etc.

Share your score with us if you post on this thread.

Here goes. No cheating!

Re: Quiz Time! Do You See It?

Can anyone show pictures of this trim on another truck? You can tell by the different color DS door that my friend's truck has a transplanted DS door. The PS door doesn't have the same trim.

I was able to reach inside the door because the door panel was off and the lower trim is attached with clips and you can see the upper part has nuts. The trim is all one piece.

I have never seen this kind of trim on a C10. Is it unique to the 1964-1966 era?
Thanks for playing this little game.

Yes that was the custom trim for the GMC. Here is a pic of what the rest on the door looks like.

Re: Quiz Time! Do You See It?

I saw it in all three pictures so I get 12 points and a couple of extra for the picture.

Re: Quiz Time! Do You See It?

I saw it on the 1st post. I will be doing the same for my 66. That chrome GMC trim is fairly rare and stinkin spendy.

Front fender and door was swap from a GMC truck, different color and side trim are a dead give away.

Re: Quiz Time! Do You See It?

My 64 GMC has that window trim, along with Chevy sail trim. The guy who sold it to me the truck offered to swap me the original trim for the sail trim, but I like the look of the sail trim better so declined.
