WTB Factory a/c cab
I am needing a good factory a/c cab to replace my severely rusted one on my 69 Chevy.
Or a good metal/body guy that can handle a big project that won't break my bank account! |

Re: WTB Factory a/c cab
Im not in a huge hurry, I was Hoping to be ready for paint along time ago but focused to much time on chassis b 4 body!
I have complete rolling chassis ready now. Do you do these type of projects? What type of time would something like this take? Thanks Phil Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: WTB Factory a/c cab
I have a good 72 ac cab here in AZ, needs outer rockers the rest is solid $350 + shipping.
It had something welded to the inner rockers too, maybe a step & when taken off ripped the inner rockers on both sides, they would need patched or replaced also. What you see on the bottom of the cab supports is mud not rust.

Re: WTB Factory a/c cab
I have taken my frame down all the way to bare metal, bought the CPP 4/6 drop spindles/spring kit w/ 5 lug disc brake conversion, added the CPP rear trailing arms & sway bar, powder coated everything black or chevy orange, along with chroming a few choice items here & there and have it to a rolling chassis. This project has taken me 14 months & counting so far!
Here are a few pics. |

Re: WTB Factory a/c cab
The thing I didn't like about the looks of the ZZ4 was the plain Jane center bolt valve covers it came on the engine and the limited amount of center bolt covers offered.
I did lots of searching and found a company that made these valve covers that have center bolt adapter plates under neath. They give it more the look of the GM572 that has the tall chevy orange valve covers on it. Then added an adapter spacer to raise carb a little & topped of with the massive K&N air cleaner & added ceramic coated headers. Posted via Mobile Device |
