Pertronix ignition help..
I am looking to change my points to a Pertronix set-up, but the problem I am having is that in order for me to get the correct ignitor kit I need a number from my distruibtor cap, Which of course does not have one so I was wondering if any one here has done a pertronix conversion on a 1968 250CI I6and what kit (part number)did you get from pertronix. Thanks for any help

Yes, I have an ignitor II on my chevy 250. It took me a bit to find the part # when I did it but I wrote it down haha, The kit I used was 91162-A. Super easy install and good mod so far for the last year. The 1162-A is the ignitor, The 91162-A is the ignitor II.
