72 cheyenne out of the junkyard. Factory cruise control?

My cousin bought this 72 cheyenne half ton 2wd for 2500 from a junkyard in lakeside. Runs and drives but needs a little fine tuning to be perfect. Ive been buffing and waxing for 2 days now and it looks way better. My question is if this is the factory cruise control.

It looks like that was a 'dealer add on' option...so it wouldn't show up on the SPID.
This wasn't uncommon at all with a lot of options including a/c.

Here's a 1972 set-up. Has underdash button to set as shown in 2nd pic. Thanks to JQ-72 for the pics.

It's amazing to me that someone would take a truck that is that good of shape to the junkyard, when most of us would kill to have one in that good of shape!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

The story i heard was that its been hidden in the corner of the junkyard for a long time. The last registration sticker is from 98. They didnt let anyone take parts off of it and when they got other 67-72s the guy took the nice parts he could find off of them and put them in this cheyenne.

Trust me when you have code enforcement on your but and you want them off of it people do some crazy sh-t.

But back in the 500.00 a ton scrap days of 2006-07 I never saw any of you sitting out front of any of the scrap yards buying all the old car;s and trucks going to the scrap yards.

Trust me I called every one i could to sit out front of these places that took junk car's and trucks most of them told me they where getting 3 times what the truck was worth.

So we lost 1/4 of these nice gem's i was able to pull parts off as many as i could but my yard is not that big.

You do need a small magnetic glued to the driveshaft in line with the sensor.
