FWIW it’s not unheard of to see close to 115 in the CA central valley, even when I was a kid. But we may hit some degree-day records this year.

Hit 106 last weekend here at the east end of Simi, Ca. This weekend mid to low 80's. Same as always. Warm in the summer for a few months, June and July seem to be the high point. Remember years I was working in HVAC it was real hot for long periods, good business in those times. Does not seem to be the case now in So Cal.

We are in the same boat here our 7FA and LM6000 both running 24/7 along with 2 of our 3 steam turbines, unit 3 is about 12-16 hours a day but not 24…yet.

With all the tourists in for the long weekend, there will be fires.

No A/C, depending on our swamp cooler to keep the house livable. So far so good.
