billit shift handle

Anyone else using the billt auto shifter that they sell every where?

I just installed mine and it seems woobley kind of like it is loose but not where it mounts but were the billit and the mounting piece attach? Just wondering if this is normal other than that I love it.

I tried one and it fit too loose. I gave it to my brother for his 94. I'll stick with the chrome steel shifter.

so maybe they are all like that it not loose enuf for me to not like it just odd.

I just got one in the mail yesterday. I'm planning on installing it this evening. Is there anything to the install? It looks like you just take the pin out, and replace the shift lever, and then put the pin back. Is that it? I'll let you know if mine's loose or not after I get it installed.

That was it. a nail set works good to get the pin out. and it can be a pain to line up hole you have to kind of push in and move it a bit untill they line but not to hard.

Let me know if yours is loose not the part that mounts to column but were the billit mounts to the mounting tab mine wobles a bit I think they are made that way so it will give a little and not snap off.

I had the billet shift knob that attaches to the end of the stock chrome shift handle. It fit perfect with the minor cut you had to make.
