Unhappy red truck rally's yes or no?

This is my brother in law's rat rod theme truck, He's not sure on the powered coated red wheels. what do you all think? I think a bullet center cap or a later model short chevy cap would make them look better. He wanted others options on these wheels or should he sell and go another way? ps it will be lowered more and will have a pin strip or a shop logo on the door, Still a work in progress.

Looks awesome. Small center smoothie caps would be perfect.

Re: red truck rally's yes or no?

Looks great the way it is, I like that he used nicer lug nuts and painted the hubs. If anything, I would do a simple smooth chrome cap as that would tie into the chrome grill rings and keep it classy.

Re: red truck rally's yes or no?

The red looks great with the matte black- I agree that the tires should be black-out, unless you do white walls. A matching red gloss pinstripe would be a natural, as would some black center caps.

Re: red truck rally's yes or no?

YES! YES! YES! try some skinny trim rings with the bullet center cap. White walls will give it a whole different flavor.

Thumbs up Re: red truck rally's yes or no?

I think it looks great,I ran that color combo for years and it's been a very popular choice with the Hot Rod crowd for decades.
