Nice pics. Looks like the weather was great. My son board member, gd hall 1999, was there for the weekend. He took his camper and stayed at the camp ground. Maybe you two crossed paths.

Re: Michigan Sand Dunes (pics)
Looks like fun. I used to ride three wheelers on the Oregon Dunes. I think it would be fun to take the Blazer down there some day and take the whole family out on the dunes.

Re: Michigan Sand Dunes (pics)
One of these days I will see a dune in person, but not from
behind the wheel, I have no fear and that can be an issue. Nice pictures

Re: Michigan Sand Dunes (pics)
Very cool area, some day we need to take a family trip over that way.
Question for ya, what's the best tire set up excluding sand tires for running around in the dunes? Great pics, thanks for posting. |

It's all about air pressure & POWER... If you don't have power, than you need momentum. Momentum can get to be a rough ride with leaf spring suspension. It would be awesome if you did make a family trip, we'll see if we can get Chevyman63 to finish his ride!! Come on Tim, time to shift into second gear!!! J/k |

You're right...I was just telling the wife today that I'm going to get a little less fussy about stuff and try and get it together so I can drive it. Now that you're off work you can help! J/K. Great pics. Brings back memories.

Re: Michigan Sand Dunes (pics)
Great pics. We are going up Aug. 5-9. We go up every year and always stay at Jellystone. Got a 383 for the Blazer coming for this year! Will be thrashing to get it all finished, but looking forward to it!

Re: Michigan Sand Dunes (pics)
Yep...I have 3 kids. They love blasting the dunes. We did it in a '78 CJ7 with Chevrolet drivetrain last year. This year will be the first year for the Blazer. Had to have more room for everyone....and of course the 383 to add to the fun factor!

Re: Michigan Sand Dunes (pics)
Cool Orange, it's a small world . Still trying to set up time to get over there. Way too much work and not enough play! My cuz seems to have plenty of time off and always ready to go, so I just have to get it together and DO IT!
