Im Back
I have been a member for awhile but the last couple years have been a rough one. Now that I'm on the upswing from the Stem Cell Transplant Thanks to MAYO Clinic I'm ready to work on the 1972 C10.
I have this 1972 C10 sitting in my garage with the rockers rotted out and the Front Clip off. My plan now is to pull the bed & cab off the truck and fix the rust and rebuild the front suspension. the control arms are bent and one of the springs are broke. I have one thing that is particularly bothering me and that is the M465 4-Speed. What can I do to swap this thing out? then truck comes with a 4 bolt main 350 which is in great shape for 92k original miles. I do like the manual but the truck is for driving to town and cruzing down the HI way. Last edited by CHEVYRULS; 12-14-2017 at 02:42 PM. Reason: motor size |
