1967 C10 rim/hubcap question

What was the correct original rim color for 67 C10's.
I have a set of original grey dog dish cap I'm putting on some 15 x 8 rims.
Were the original rims white or silver?

My original '68 has the black and silver hubcaps like the first pic and the wheels are silver. They all need repainted but it is easy to see the color...

I forgot to add that the truck is silver so I don't know if that has anything to do with wheel color or not.

Re: 1967 C10 rim/hubcap question

i have 2 really original 67's and the rims were both main body color. black and red. both had full wheel covers though so that may change things.

On my 68 GMC the rims were painted a dark blue while the truck was a light blue.

These are the hub caps that were on it.

Re: 1967 C10 rim/hubcap question

1967 the rims where black unless your truck was two-tone then the rims where body color (green, blue, yellow ect)

1967 hubcaps where white and red/orange

1968 hubcaps where silver and black and the rims where painted silver, not sure if they where painted body color on the two-tone trucks.

Re: 1967 C10 rim/hubcap question

^ That's spot-on for '67. I believe the '68s varied in hubcap/wheel color by the body paint and/or trim level, but can't recall just exactly how it went at the moment.
