Fuel tank size?
I recently purchased a 70 C20 and I'm not sure what size or capacity my behind the bench seat fuel tank is? My fuel gauge is reading incorrectly, so it would be nice to know! I'm trying to find a manual for this truck also, but most auto parts stores don't carry the older manuals! Any help would be deeply appreicated. Thanks
Mark

My '72 chevy and '71 GMC has a 21 gallon fuel tank behind the seat. Some have said with a 6 cylinder in early models the had a 16 gallon, But I have never seen one.

You can get the original owner's manual from chevyduty.com. If I rememember right, it's about 7 bucks. The Haynes and Chilton repair manuals are available from LMC Truck and chevyduty.com. Good luck.

Fix your fuel gauge, maybe..... If your sender or gauge is bad, let me know....I have both that I took out from my conversion to the L31. Both were functional when removed....
