help on the 69 before i burn it.lol

on the 69 it will run good for about 15min then it seems like it loses 4cyl.and back fires.when it dies it will fire backup after 10/15 min. and run decent for a few miles
after dark on the plugs the porcelin part that you can see with the wire on it glows blue.its not arcing or jumping it looks life a blue light that gets brighter the more you rev it up
been thru tank and fuel lines
new filter
new coil/cap/wires/plugs
swapped dizzy by the way its a hei
its getting good spark

please help

Is the tank vented? If not, it might run until the vaccum becomes to much and starves the engine. Try running it without the gas cap. Hey it`s worth a try anyway.

I agree with fuel vent,,,or if its not that and u got HEI that moduale will do that if fried????????????????

thanks ive tried the cap.it was running like crap earlier let it sit a few hours and about run the battery dead trying to crank it.no gas in carb worked the throttle several times and got a little bit got it cranked still runs like crap.im going to check fuel pressure tommaro and make sure im getting enough to the carb

hi guys new here but maybe someon can help i going to put a tilt wheel in my truck an would like to know what qould work i found one out of a van with the switch in the dash will it work or is it to short

bad fuel pump sounds like just sounds like a fuel dilivery problem

Another thought, check any of the rubber fuel lines to see if they are being sucked flat... mine has rubber from the pump to the carb, and it they get old they do weird things.

to check fuel pump delivery disconnect line to carb put into jar crank engine for 15sec you should have at least a cup of gas--if not bad pump or clogged strainer in the gas tank/// hei dizzy?? is it wired correctly?? lots of people use the original wires (resistor circuit) and end up frying the modules due to lo voltage

thanks everybody turns out edelbrock has 2 hidden filters you have to take carb apart to get to.full of trash in there time for a better filter and tank cleaning
