What to use

I have a 67 c10 .I have a complete ft suspension from a 87 c10 upper controls arms/lowers/spindles/rotors/and all steering components.I am planning on using the steering from the 87.I am going to buy drop spindles to lower the front should I use the 87 setup and get spindles for that or just use the 67 and get spindles for that? Its getting torn apart either way for cleaning/paint.Has anyone had any fitment problems with the 73-87 setup?

Re: What to use

Use all 87 stuff would be my opinion. From reading here,it's cheaper, more readily available, and will fit what you got.

Re: What to use

74 and up use a different control arm bushing that is thought to be better by some, so a complete swap would be better, the 67 stuff is kinda small (tie rods and ball joints) are not very thick, so the 87 stuff is more durable.

I sat my 350 down on the frame and check my header clearance. It all fit just like it did on my 69.
